POINT TO PONDER:I was planed by God for His pleasure
REFLECT: How did today's reading impact you?
"Bringing pleasure to God is called WORSHIP. It is the first and primary purpose of our lives. God did not need to create me, but He chose to create me for His own enjoyment. You and I exist for His benefit, His glory, His purpose, and His delight. When I fully understand that truth, I will never again have a problem with feeling insignificant."
"We worship for God's benefit -not mine. When I worship, my goal should be to bring pleasure to God, not me. It's not about me, it's for Him. 
       "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their
   hearts are far from me.  Their worship of me is made up only of rules by men"  
   (Isaiah 29:13 - NIV)
"Worship is not what I do with my lips, it's what I do with my life. It is offering my life, today to live for God's pleasure. That is the secret to a life of worship -- doing everything as if I were doing it for Jesus. " 
       "Take your everyday, ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life 
   and place it before God as an offering.  " (Romans 12:1 - The Message)
PRAYER:
"Gracious Father, thank You for choosing to create me for Your pleasure. If everything else falls off the plate today, please serve me a heaping portion of knowing You a little better today - Your character, Your purposes, Your ways I offer everything I do today as an act of worship before You. Amen"
FOR MY CONSIDERATION:
   What is one thing in my life that I can begin doing today as "an offering" - an act of worship before God?
